Julia Patey

Julia Patey is a Canadian director based in Berlin. Having first picked up a camera to make a series of fake commercials at the age of six, Julia is a lifelong filmmaker through and through. She’s interested in making work that reflects a truly sensual experience and does so by amplifying scenes with vivid images and sounds that you can almost taste.

Julia’s music video “Ballerina” by Artschool was awarded “Most Bizarre” at the Berlin Music Video Awards 2018.
